EVERYTHING Chocolate!
Have you noticed that
chocolate is just about everywhere? The popularity of chocolate
certainly is on the rise with the "heart healthy" science findings - and
isn't that great?! One of our very favorite foods is HEALTHY!
Why, it even deserves its OWN food group!
Did you know that
Chocolate DOES have its very own DAY? YES - Chocolate Day,
February 12... not only do you have February 14 to look forward to an
indulgence of our favorite food group, but you can get a "healthy" kick
off a couple days prior, celebrating chocolate's very own day in the
spotlight... to send a card commemorating this day,

There will be more to
come on this page... but for now, take comfort in knowing that CHOCOLATE
IS A VEGETABLE!
Chocolate is a
Vegetable
Chocolate is
derived from cocoa beans.
Bean = vegetable.
**
Sugar is derived
from either sugar cane or sugar BEETS.
**
Both of them are
plants,
in the
vegetable
category.
Thus,
chocolate
is a
vegetable.
**
To go one step
further,
chocolate candy
bars
also contain milk,
which is dairy.
So
candy bars
are a health food.
**
Chocolate-covered raisins,
cherries,
orange slices
and
strawberries
all count as
fruit,
so eat as many as
you want.
